Bois de la Cambre

Bois de la Cambre is an urban public park on the edge of the Sonian Forest in Brussels. Seeing as Spring finally arrived in Belgium this morning, my friend Delphine and I decided to go for a nice walk and "prendre un cafe" at the woods. There is a sweet little restaurant, "Le Chalet Robinson", on a small island in the park which can be reached by boat (one every half hour). It is a little bit of a farce since the distance between the island and the main park is about 20 metres but it's still a unique experience! Boats can also be rented in the lake. The park is very nice, convenient and close to the city centre. I would definitely recommend bringing visitors to the park, especially on a lovely Spring day!
