Chocolate & Wine Workshop

This weekend I attended a Wine and Chocolate Workshop with the Brussels Women's Club. The Choclaterie Duval located in Schaeerbeck offers the opportunity to learn all about the art of chocolate making while at the same time tasting a selection of the best wines. 

Delicious.

It was easy to access by public transport- The no:1 line to Montgomery and then transferred to Meiser Station via tram line 25 and the instructor was most interesting and helpful- a real chocolate aficionado as evidenced by his lovely little pot belly! The workshop includes a brief cocoa bean history lesson, chocolate demonstrations, audience participation and wrapping of our creations. Here are a few quick pictures:

Afterwards we went for a coffee and a nice chat in a very local pub! Courses are highly recommended-proper chocolate therapy!
